The cover story is dedicated to the new Hyundai “RN22e”, a prototype built by the Hyundai Group based on the “E-GMP” platform. It is a mobile laboratory set up to field test the design solutions developed within its research and development centers and minimize the time normally required to go from a project to a production model.

Automotive

On the automotive front, Toyota unveiled its new Land Cruiser FJ, a compact off-road vehicle capable of tackling even the most challenging off-road terrain. The new model retains all the best features of the
Land Cruiser—reliability, durability, and off-road performance—but offers them in a more compact form and size.

The new issue also features an in-depth look at the new Ferrari Electric. A few months ahead of its official debut, the Maranello-based manufacturer has revealed details about the powertrain, chassis, and components of its first fully electric super sports car. This technological powerhouse, through in-house developed racing-derived solutions, aims to redefine the performance standards of electric supercars.

Motorcycles

Among two-wheelers, Bmw is launching the “F450 Gs” at Eicma 2025, expanding its “Gs” range. This road-going enduro meets market demand in the mid-size segment for class “A2” license holders, ensuring the technical standards typical of the German brand’s models.

Also among motorcycles, Ducati is showcasing new developments across various segments at Eicma, with the most striking being the 2026 versions of the “Monster” and the “Desmo250 Mx” motocross racing bike.

Honda’s response, also at Eicma, is a Japanese trio. At the show, Honda is launching three new products, ranging from a true return to the sport tourer segment with the “CB1000GT” to its entry into the electrified two-wheeler segment with the production version of the “WN7” and the “V3R-900E-Compressor” prototype with an electric compressor.

MV Agusta also announced news, expanding its Brutale range with the launch of the Brutale 950 Serie Oro (initially only 300 units were produced). Alongside it, a surprise that surprised enthusiasts and operators alike: the prototype of a five-cylinder engine capable of delivering up to 240 horsepower.

Suzuki’s response, also in the two-wheeled segment, is the “SV-7Gx,” a bridge between a naked sports bike like the “SV650” and an adventure tourer like the “V-Strom 650.” This eclectic, multifaceted motorcycle aims to combine the agility of a sports bike with the comfort of a touring bike.

Also in the two-wheeled segment, Yamaha presented a series of concept motorcycles at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show that explored not only new energy solutions, but also the relationship between man and machine, the riding experience, and the intelligent use of new technologies.

Engine

During the month of the Agritechnica agricultural machinery fair, we offer an in-depth look at the new engine innovations on display at the fair.

Watercraft

In the marine industry, in early September Mercury Marine announced the launch of a new six-horsepower outboard powered by a port-injected system. It is the only six-horsepower outboard currently offering this capability combined with a twin-cylinder architecture.

Aerospace

From an aircraft for agricultural and firefighting purposes to a tactical and light military airborne unit. Macchine Motori 93 focuses on the package developed by L3Harris Technologies for the “Air Tractor AT-802U” which has given rise to the “Sky Warden,” a multi-role aircraft capable of cost-effectively carrying out close air support, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions in complex operational environments.
