The claim launched by Fpt Industrial at Agritechnica sums up the brand’s increasingly strong presence in agricultural mechanization.
This is a result supported by an engine range that covers all sector requirements and is complemented by new and exclusive technological solutions

“Power you trust” is the slogan under which FPT Industrial appeared at Agritechnica, showcasing products and technologies designed to meet the needs of end users. A successful design philosophy, as clearly confirmed by the Turin-based company’s current leadership position in the sector. In Europe, FPT Industrial powers one tractor out of three and two combine harvesters out of five—figures that are also mirrored in the Americas.
In Hannover, and from a technical standpoint, Fpt Industrial’s presence remained true to the company’s core philosophy, focusing squarely on real market needs with a range of internal combustion engines. Among the highlights was the “N67,” now also adopted by Deutz-Fahr to power its “Series 8 TTV” tractors.

For Deutz-Fahr, until recently tied to Deutz and SDF power units, this represents a significant step forward. And backed by the more than two million “NEF” engines produced over 25 years and adopted by leading agricultural and industrial machinery manufacturers thanks to the wide variety of versions available.
In the off-road sector alone, more than one hundred configurations are offered, based on both structural and non-structural versions. Representing the family in Hanover was a high-power “N67” rated at 250 kW (340 hp), made possible by a variable-geometry turbocharger (VGT) boosting system.

Alongside the N67, FPT Industrial also showcased the “XC13” (XCursor 13), already used in on-road applications. Developed with the power density, efficiency, and compactness targets typical of the truck world, these characteristics will increase productivity and sustainability when the engine is transferred to agricultural and industrial machinery. With a displacement of 12.9 liters, it can deliver up to 680 hp and 2,810 Nm of torque.
Also on display—powering the most powerful Case IH tractor ever, the “Steiger 785 Quadtrac”—was the “Cursor 16 TST,” equipped with a two-stage turbocharging system. With a displacement of 15.9 liters, it develops 633 kW (860 hp) at 1,900 rpm and a maximum torque of 3,717 Nm.

Completing FPT Industrial’s showcase were engines in IPU (Industrial Power Unit) configuration—“turnkey” solutions supplied complete with cooling, aftertreatment, and filtration systems.
Diesel, however, is not the only focus. The electrification of machinery has in fact become one of FPT Industrial’s commercial pillars, supported by battery production that has exceeded 20,000 units—a volume set to grow once the “FORMA” concept enters production. This is a modular, scalable energy storage system configurable according to layout constraints and different operating missions. It is based on NMC or LFP cells and adaptable architectures for full-electric or hybrid applications.

The latter is represented by the new “F28 Hybrid” in its high-voltage version with a “P2” electric architecture. Here, the 2.8-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 75 kW is paired with a 700-volt, 75 kW electric unit capable of operating as the primary energy source, as demonstrated in the prototype New Holland “TH Hybrid Power” telescopic handler. In this application, the internal combustion engine is powered by natural gas, while the high-voltage electric unit enables a combined output of 156 hp.
