Leveraging the visibility of the “Middle East Energy” show in Dubai.Tthe company expanded its power generation offering by introducing the final version of its 55–65 kW gen-set powered by the R38 engine, with a displacement of 3.8 liters. First unveiled at EIMA late last year, this new gen-set brings both a new product and a new engine to the table.
The R38 is a robust turbocharged four-cylinder engine, featuring a proven and reliable mechanical injection system. Designed for easy maintenance, all service and refill points are conveniently located on the same side of the engine. The unit delivers standby power within the 55 to 66 kW range and provides 320 Nm of torque at 1,700 rpm. It can operate at either 1,500 or 1,800 rpm depending on the required power frequency, and is available in a “G-Drive” configuration—ready-to-use with a pre-installed cooling package, fuel filters, pre-filter, and oil filter.
With the addition of this new gen-set, Fpt Industrial aims to strengthen its leading position in the power generation sector, where it currently sells over 30,000 units annually worldwide. Its product lineup covers engines ranging from 2.4 liters to 16 liters, all compliant with global emissions regulations—from the most stringent to those for unregulated markets—while delivering top-tier performance.
